Timing Is

Everything.

It’s not everyday that you find The Rolling Stones Jet parked at your local airport.  And, when you do stumble upon such events it’s not always possible to stop whatever you’re doing to capture the event for posterity.  As it turned out, my work had me dispatched to this exact location where the plane was awaiting passengers that my company would later deliver to the tarmac.  Days later, I learned from other drivers who had those passengers on board their buses that even they were surprised to see The Rolling Stones Jet, fully fueled and ready to depart them to their next destination.  Guess this would be one of the perks of being a Professional Soccer Player for the Premier League team, Manchester United.  What had me there you ask?  A few hours earlier I transported the entourage and support personnel that travels with the team to another jet that was parked slightly right of this image.
Speaking of timing, also last summer I witnessed a natural phenomenon in the sky above a property where I once resided.  I’ve seen some pretty interesting things in the sky over the last 59 years, but never this.  Yes, those are very thin clouds with enough moisture and sunlight to create a rainbow within such clouds.  Yes, my trusty Nikon wasn’t far away and here’s the natural shot that wasn’t modified with Photoshop, Lightroom, or any other photo editing software.
